Baghpat (Uttar Pradesh), Nov 27 (ANI): Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur on Indian Cricket Team’s tour to South Africa on November 27 said that in a such situation, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) should consult from Government. This comes after World Health Organisation (WHO) on November 26 alarmed the siren among countries after a new B.1.1.529 (Omicron) variant of COVID-19 was classified in South Africa “In such situation, every board be it BCCI or any other, should consult and discuss with the Government of India. Government will take a decision when it gets the application from them (BCCI),” said the Union Sports Minister.(SS)
