Québec: Large rural warehouse with equipment burnt to the ground 10-21-2021
Published at : November 02, 2021
At 6h pm on Thursday October 21st a fire completely destroyed a large warehouse at the corner of Rang de l'Église and Highway 10 in Marieville, Québec, Canada. Firefighters from multiple municipalities located south of Montréal gathered to join their effort, among them mutual aid coming from Rougemont, St-Césaire, Richelieu and Sainte-Angèle-de-Monnoir. The blaze that started at the end of sunlight created a large black smoke column in the area south of the city of Chambly. Fire that appears to have started at one end of the building quickly spread across its entire length causing walls to collapse as seen at mark 0:15. The toxic combination of smoke and fire that consumed vehicles and boats inside the structure fortunately left no one injured.
