BIDEN BLASTED: US President makes numerous awkward gaffes as inflation soars

US President Joe Biden has made a number of gaffes as he tries to defend his administration's handling of America's inflation crisis.

Inflation remains at record high level of 8.3 per cent over the year to April, with the price of food, gas and energy soaring.

Inflation is taking a toll on Joe Biden's personal approval rating, with poll aggregator FiveThirtyEight claiming only 41 per cent of Americans approval of the president's performance while in office.
